Everyone has a different background and a different reason for choosing to build a career at the Koch Agencies. We work together, support each other, and help each other succeed.

Erich Koch
President of The Koch Agency
Shortly after graduating from Texas ATM, I started my career in 2005 without any prior industry experience. I wanted to have ownership of my career and control over my income and mobility within the company. I quickly surrounded myself with the right people, which has enabled us to consistently grow since this organization’s beginning. I absolutely love working with Winners who challenge me daily.
I came to the Koch Agencies immediately following my graduation from The University of Texas in 2009. I’ve had a lifetime career in sales. My first sales experience was with magazines in 5th grade for a school fundraiser. I was the number one salesman in school. Next, I sold study guides and children’s books door-to-door during my college summers with the Southwestern Company.
I have always loved the opportunity to control my own schedule, get paid what I’m worth, and own my future. I also love the products we offer and how they make a big difference in the lives of our clients. However, it’s not what we do, but who we become in the process of building our businesses as we create multigenerational wealth for ourselves and our families.

I came to the Koch Agencies in 2017 from the field of Education. I was a Teacher with Chicago Public Schools for 8 years and in McKinney Texas for 1 year. I really wanted a change that would allow me to take control of my time, income, and destiny. Working with one of the Koch Agencies allowed me a limitless platform with a product I could believe in. I found an opportunity to work with great leaders who consistently inspire me to be better than I was yesterday!

I was an IT recruiter for a consulting firm. I was the number one recruiter in my office and #3 in the entire company in the first few months and was slotted for promotion to Account Manager. The higher-ups kept moving the bar after I would exceed the requirements for the promotion for more than a year. When it came down to it, I wasn’t being paid nearly what I was worth, so I decided to make a move.
The money, bonuses, and trips are what excited me and motivated me. The ability to earn a residual income down the road was incredible, but the service we provide our clients is what has kept me here going on 14 years now.

I started in June 2021 with a Koch Agency after a 25-year career selling wine for large distributors in DFW and the California coast. I had a need for a flexible schedule, and meeting great people every day yet was wanting to get out of the corporate daily grind. I embrace having my own business, yet I am never alone. It’s up to YOU to succeed!

I came to The Koch Agency in June 2022, after 20 years of active duty and contractor work for the US Air Force. Working with The Koch Agency allows me to take control of my time and income, it also allows me to provide great lifesaving protection to many families. The future and opportunity is unlimited for me with this career.

I came to Family Heritage and The Koch Agency at the start of 2024. I have a history of sales, but this product and company are unlike anything I've ever dealt with. Our clients always come first, and everyone I work with is committed to my growth as a person, and agent. My own freedom is the most important thing in my life, and this career offers me the ability to take care of my family financially with the flexibility to be there for them whenever is needed. There is nowhere else that allows you the ability to make generational wealth for your family while impacting your community in such a positive way. I am so thankful this opportunity found me, and now I’m looking forward to sharing it with as many people possible.

I grew up in Austin, Texas, and I started working with Family Heritage and The Koch Agency right after graduating with a degree in Business Management and an MBA. At the same time, I played Division I college soccer, which taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to push myself to be my best.
This was my first career out of college, and I was drawn to it because of the great work-life balance and the opportunity to grow. I’ve loved being able to take control of my future, learn from strong leaders, and make a real difference for families. I’m grateful to God for the doors He’s opened and for the path this company has given me.

I currently live in Azle, Texas with my beautiful wife Samali and our super awesome black lab, Jackie. We have been married for 25 years and have two extraordinary kids, Malia and Logan. We love spending time at the lake, being outdoors, and blessing the less fortunate. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University where I studied Business and Marketing, so a big Wreck’EM to my Red Raider friends and family! I was born in Fort Worth and my wife is from the Island of Puerto Rico.
My wife and I have had the opportunity to work together on and off over the years in start-up ventures, along with several years in corporate America. However, recently we decided that we would retire from the corporate America lifestyle and do our own thing again. We have been blessed to have found the best opportunity in America with Globe Life Family Heritage.
We thank God every day for providing us this opportunity to help protect families financially from some of life’s most unplanned and unexpected events.

I’m from Weatherford, Texas. My wife Valerie and I have been married for 22 years. We have a rather large family due to the fact that we have four boys of our own and have become foster parents.
My career path is a long and varied adventure. I spent 20 or so years in the retail grocery industry, moving up through the ranks. Next was lumber and building materials, where I started out driving a truck, and became a logistics manager. I dove into construction after that, working as a residential construction superintendent for about 13 years.
I never, ever dreamed I’d be an insurance agent, but this opportunity has already given me the opportunity, sense of community, and support that I had only dreamed of most of my life. This is a mission! I can occupy my time actually helping people in unbelievable ways. Unlike any other job I’ve had prior, I have a clear path to financial stability and eventually complete financial freedom. And I get to bless people’s lives while I do it!
